How do you discover who you want to become when you're not entirely sure who you are? Jo March is about to find out. Feelings that Jo thinks she might have for Freddie. Feelings she's never shared with anyone before. And while it helps having a new friend in Laurie, the boy who just moved in next door, things get complicated when he tells Jo he has feelings for her. With the March sisters' dad deployed overseas, their mom working overtime to keep things running smoothly, and Beth worried about her leukemia returning, things at home are tense. But even with Freddie cheering her on, writing news stories is a lot harder than she imagined. This could be the perfect chance to see if she's got what it takes to be a hard-hitting journalist. Then Freddie, a girl on the school newspaper, asks Jo to join as a staff writer. But when eighth grade starts, Jo decides it's time to get serious about her writing and starts a blog to kick-start this journey. She graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 2015 & teaches comics in the Continuing Studies program at Langara and is also the current secretary of the Vancouver- based charitable organization, Cloudscape.Jo March has always loved making up stories for her sisters, Meg, Beth, and Amy.

Publication is planned for summer 2022 for Anne and summer 2024 for Carousel Summer and Gros agent Elizabeth Bennett at Transatlantic Agency negotiated the deal. The second graphic novel focuses on the character Lucy, "who is facing a long and lonely summer until she meets Anaïs, the daughter of a visiting artist, and learns there's more going on in her town than she originally thought-and more to her feelings for Anaïs than just friendship." Kathleen Gros is a cartoonist living in Vancouver, BC. The book has been acquired by Alexandra Cooper to be published by HarperCollins imprint, Quill Tree. The graphic novel Anne follows "feisty red-haired Anne, who finally finds the perfect foster family and confronts her perhaps more-than-platonic feelings for her new best friend Diana". Well, Gros seems to have now sold a thematic graphic novel sequel (sort of) with Anne, a contemporary middle-grade graphic novel inspired by the classic Anne Of Green Gables.
